Who am I?
I am 44 years old, married with 3 gorgeous children with another on the way.
By profession I am a railway engineer specialising in electrification and based in London. I have been writing for 8 years and although my work has not been published, I find the process of creating a story both exciting and relaxing.
My interests other than writing include travel, rugby (Bedford Blues supporter), kayaking, beer drinking, running, cooking curries and badminton.

Did you know that
each children's book
I write is approximately
400 words in length...
Carizmo
and that my novels
are between 93,000
and 97,000 words in
total?
Cracking Times took
me 4 years to write.
On average I wrote for
at least 1 hour every
night of the week...
Like most writers, my
ideas for a story
come from my
experiences in life.
And let's not kid
ourselves. The book
market is swamped
with agents receiving
sometimes more than
200 new manuscripts
a day...
So getting published is
probably harder than
winning the lottery.
That's why if writing's
worth doing -
it's worth doing for fun!
