Kefalonia

For many years we have travelled to the Greek island of Kefalonia. Inevitably we have made many good friends there. Anyone visiting Scala between 2001 and 2006, browsing in Maya's Gift Shop will not have been able to miss her adopted dog. A scruffy individual he was a bit of a local legend and it wasn't unknown for him to turn up in Poros some 12 kilometres away. No one knows where he came from, although rumour has it he had been caught trying to board the ferry at Poros. Maybe that's how he arrived?

He never really recovered properly from being knocked over by a car and we all missed him when he no longer frequented the step of Maribou Internet Cafe. So I scribbled my little tribute to him when we were out there in 2007. Please click the link below to view.
